Cedar Trees for Hedging

Eastern Evergreen is a family owned and operated business that was started in 1966 by my father, David Valyear. We are proud of our 60 years supplying quality cedar trees for hedging. Our customers include the nursery trade, landscaping contractors and residential home owners.

My father started this small business by scouring the country side looking for quality fields of healthy Ontario grown white cedar trees. His idea back then laid the groundwork for what we continue today, to not strip the fields but harvest them in an ecologically friendly manner, that enables the trees to continually replenish themselves and provide healthy quality product for you, the end user. Since the beginning we have grown into a company that provides planting material for many environmental groups in the GTA. We also now supply evergreen boughs, wreaths, garlands and decorative branches, poles and trees – for the holiday season.

Our farm, now located in Warkworth Ontario, has 45,000 cedar trees ranging in sizes that offer a natural fence alternative for your backyard. From scouring the countryside to having our own 20 acre farm our goal has always remained the same - to provide quality hedging and the best customer service.
